Jack Smith, Siegerhof trainer/handler,
has attained podium finishes in the
1970's, 1980's, 1990's and the new
millennium (2000).
Four decades of personal Schutzhund Championship level training/handling
success with his own dogs (and was coach/trainer for many
others.)
To our knowledge, only
ONE other handler/trainer in America*, who is currently training and handling
Schutzhund German Shepherds,
has attained over FOUR DECADES of Schutzhund competition success in
America.
* To our knowledge, Phil Hoelcher of Miami Florida, is the
only other handler to attain over four decades of podium finishes in
North America.
Phil represented America in 1976/1977 at the European Championships.
Phil is still actively and SUCCESSFULLY training and competing in Schutzhund
competitions in America.
